About Akoustik Anarkhy Dublin

aA will be making another trip from Manchester to Dublin on December 6th, and visiting the southside of the city for the first time with a gig at Upstairs Whelan's.

-------------------What is aA Dublin?-------------------
Born out of the legendary Akoustik Anarkhy live night/record label combo which started 8 years ago in the city of Manchester, aA has now found a new city to host its unique party.

aA Dublin is directly affiliated with aA in the UK, becoming as integral a fixture in the live aA calender as the Manchester and London nights. aA Dublin extends the community spirit of the label to Ireland, creating a link between Irish and UK acts and giving them the opportunity to play in each others cities.

Akoustik Anarkhy Dublin debuted in November 2007 in The Boom Boom Room on Parnell St. with a successful night headlined by St.Helen's outfit The Loungs. Playing alongside them were new Dublin based act The Makestrange and LA Pals from Manchester with an acoustic performance from Sam Pridell of London band Sam & Me.

aA Dublin returned on March 1st 2008 with another 4 acts. The bill topped by one of the finest upcoming alternative bands around Dublin, Dark Room Notes. Its A Buffalo made played a blinding irish debut, making us all wait in anticipation for the debut album. LA Pals and Sam Pridell once again opened the night in style.
